Raven Operational Decision Runtime

Enterprise readiness evidence

The audit questions Raven expects before production

This page is not a certification claim. It is a public-safe map of the evidence Raven prepares for enterprise security, architecture, procurement and pilot review before any real customer runtime is activated.

Audience CISO / CTO / procurement / audit Mode readiness evidence Boundary no production activation

Readiness Position

What this provesRaven has a controlled readiness model for security, software delivery, tenant isolation, backup, restore, support and governance questions.
What this does not proveThis page does not claim SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI, regulatory certification, production deployment or independent audit completion.
Enterprise standard basisRaven maps readiness work to NIST CSF 2.0, NIST SP 800-207 Zero Trust, NIST SSDF SP 800-218, OWASP ASVS, SLSA, CIS Controls and SOC 2 / ISO 27001 readiness language.
Decision boundaryRaven recommends, Mira frames cost and package context, and the human approves. No autonomous production decision is claimed here.

Secure SDLC And Supply Chain

Secure software developmentProduction work should follow SSDF-style controls: defined roles, secure requirements, reviewable changes, vulnerability response and release approval.
SBOMRelease artifacts should have a software bill of materials or dependency inventory before customer runtime activation.
Dependency scanDependencies should be scanned before release and reviewed when risk, license or vulnerability status changes.
sensitive credential scanRepositories, exported packages and public content should be scanned for tokens, keys, webhook sensitive credentials and provider credentials before release.
SLSA provenanceBuild provenance should record what built the release artifact, from what source, with what process and which inputs.
Release artifactCustomer-visible ZIPs, reports and runtime packages should have hashes, version references, manifest entries and human release approval.

ASVS Application Security Gate

ASVS basisCustomer portals, owner tools and future API surfaces should be checked against OWASP ASVS-style authentication, session, access control, validation, API, configuration and error-handling requirements.
AuthenticationCustomer runtime requires approved identity, MFA path, account activation state and tenant scope before login can become production.
SessionSession TTL, CSRF reference, cookie scope, logout and re-authentication rules must be defined before customer runtime.
Access controlEvery action needs tenant, role, permission, package entitlement and audit context. Public pages do not authorize runtime actions.
ValidationCustomer uploads, API payloads and report exports require schema, size, type, data-class and malware-scan gates before processing.
APIAPI listeners require endpoint contract, idempotency, rate limit, provider signature, safe errors and release approval before activation.
ConfigurationSecurity headers, CSP, no public form action, no external connection from static pages and no public sensitive credential values are required for the public surface.
Security headersPublic release checks should preserve CSP, frame protection, content type protection, permissions policy, referrer policy and indexing boundaries.

Backup And Restore Drill

Backup scopeSystem backup must include source, ontology, semantic graph, contracts, public site, apps, reports, manifests and operational runbooks without unnecessary raw measurement archives.
External mediaRestore-grade copies should be stored on external media with manifest, hashes and owner-requested documentation.
Restore drillRaven should prove that a clean system can be restored from backup, not merely copied.
RecoveryRecovery steps must define owner, trigger, restore path, validation checks, rollback decision and communication.
RollbackProduction release requires rollback reference and recovery queue before activation.
RTORecovery time objective must be declared per customer agreement or pilot scope before production.
RPORecovery point objective must be declared per customer agreement or pilot scope before production.

Tenant Isolation Proof

Tenant isolationCustomer context, evidence, users, reports, credits, audit and exports must remain tenant-scoped.
Cross-tenant boundaryCross-customer learning may use anonymized and abstracted patterns only; raw reports, identities and customer-specific data do not cross tenants.
RBACRole-based access control must decide which users can read reports, approve actions, export evidence, manage credits or view governance.
Tenant scopeEvery future API request, report read, export action and credit ledger event must carry tenant scope and audit reference.
Data leakage preventionPublic demos use synthetic data. Customer runtime requires test evidence that one tenant cannot read another tenant's reports, audit, credits or operational context.
Customer contextSuper Raven learning must distinguish client-specific history from anonymized fleet-level patterns before recommending action.

Operational Readiness Runbook

RunbookProduction requires a written runbook for failure, recovery, support, customer notification and owner escalation.
Collector failureIf a collector stops, Raven should mark evidence stale, block unsupported claims and notify the responsible owner through approved channels.
Webhook duplicateIf a webhook repeats, idempotency should prevent double credit, double email, duplicate report release or duplicate activation.
Payment failurePayment status should not activate service until provider event verification, ledger reconciliation and human release rules are satisfied.
Mail failureTransactional mail requires bounce handling, suppression, retry policy, dead-letter path and owner review for repeated delivery failures.
Report generation failureReport generation should move to recovery queue with audit reference rather than silently producing incomplete customer material.
Owner notificationOwner app should surface only meaningful decisions or blocking work, not noisy status spam.
Recovery queueFailed provider, report, export and runtime actions should be recoverable with audit reason, owner, retry rule and rollback reference.

SOC 2 And ISO 27001 Readiness

SOC 2 readinessRaven can prepare evidence around security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy controls without claiming a SOC 2 report before audit.
ISO 27001 readinessRaven can maintain an ISMS-style risk register, control owner map, evidence register and continuous improvement log before formal certification.
Not certificationReadiness language is not certification language. Formal certification appears only after an independent process is completed.
Risk registerProduction work should track risks, owners, mitigations, residual risk, approval state and review dates.
Control ownerEach control needs an owner: security, architecture, operations, finance, legal or founder until delegated.
EvidenceEvery production-readiness claim should have a linked test, contract, manifest, audit record, runbook or owner decision.
AuditRaven should preserve who approved what, why, with which evidence, at what MTC/local time and under which limitation.

AI Governance And Cloud Readiness

ISO/IEC 42001 readinessRaven tracks AI-system purpose, human oversight, role separation, model limitations, evidence traceability, abuse boundaries and change-control expectations.
CSA STAR Level 1 readinessCloud-facing claims should be mapped to a self-assessment draft before any formal CSA STAR registry statement is made.
Model risk boundaryRaven may recommend. It must show evidence, confidence and limits. Human approval remains required for operational action.
No certification claimThis is readiness evidence, not an audit report, certificate, attestation or registry listing.

Critical-mission readiness packet

Threat modelCustomer runtime needs a threat model covering tenant boundary, data intake, report export, assistant action, provider integration and owner approval.
Incident response planProduction requires response roles, severity levels, communication path, evidence preservation, customer notification and recovery decision rules.
Kill-switch designRuntime action paths must have a documented disable switch for collectors, exports, provider calls, billing actions and assistant execution.
Recovery queueFailed provider, report, export and runtime actions should move to a recoverable queue with audit reason, retry rule and rollback reference.
ObservabilityProduction needs health checks, error budgets, queue status, collector freshness, report state, payment state and owner-visible alerts.

Legal and data boundary

Source boundaryEvery customer evidence source needs owner, scope, access method, approval record and a clear line between public-safe material, customer-private data and Raven-internal learning extracts.
DPA templateA customer pilot that touches personal data requires a data processing agreement path, processing purpose, retention category and deletion process.
Retention policyEach evidence class needs retention days, owner, deletion trigger, legal-hold boundary and verification record.
Customer data intake checklistBefore intake Raven needs data class, source owner, transfer method, redaction state, malware scan gate, scope and approval record.
Revocation and deletionCustomer-approved access, exports, learning extracts and report visibility need revocation, deletion and verification steps.
